Working through the Women Inspirational Network (WIN) Incubator Program established by Mobilink Bank, thirteen female entrepreneurs obtained their graduation certificates by developing essential business capabilities along with financial education skills needed for enterprise development.
The commencement ceremony took place in Islamabad on March 8, 2025, marking the celebration of International Women’s Day. The occasion unified industry executives, businesswomen representative organizations, and media figures to honor the participants’ achievements.
In an address, Haaris Mahmood Chaudhary, Mobilink Bank’s CEO and President, outlined the enduring effects of this program.
He emphasized that a future-ready bank functions beyond offering tools and opportunities because it creates long-term changes for sustainable growth. He added:
“The elevation of a woman becomes a catalyst for raising both her family network as well as her community.”
Top Startups Recognized for Innovation
Three exceptional startup companies won awards at the event for their remarkable, innovative work.
- The Best Startup Award recognized Ecobricks, awarding it with a cash prize of Rs1 million ($3,573).
- Recycle Bin and EcoGrow claimed victory in the Innovation Challenge, receiving funding of Rs500,000 ($1,786) to help advance their businesses.

Mobilink Bank stated that these awards act as fundamental financial instruments to assist women leaders in business development. The bank also initiated the second WIN Incubator Program cohort, further strengthening Kuwaiti women entrepreneurs’ presence in Pakistan’s startup ecosystem.
Women Entrepreneurs Driving Change
Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary, Amna Baloch, characterized the success of this initiative as a significant milestone. She praised the women entrepreneurs, stating:
“These women’s life experiences create motivation for others to seize control of their destinies while inspiring hope.”
The WIN Incubator Program operates within Pakistan’s broader initiative to eliminate gender inequality in entrepreneurial opportunities. Women entrepreneurs in the country often face barriers such as insufficient capital support, workplace discrimination, and societal restrictions.
Mobilink Bank’s initiative aligns with Pakistan’s national strategy for female empowerment by promoting economic development and financial inclusion.
