According to Ishaq Dar, the US delegation was led by Vice President JD Vance, while the Iranian delegation was headed by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.
Both delegations arrived in Islamabad to participate in what was described as a serious and structured negotiation process.

Ishaq Dar revealed that he, along with Field Marshal Asim Munir, facilitated multiple rounds of discussions between the two sides.
