The government has enforced a Nationwide Drone Ban amid rising security concerns across multiple regions. Authorities have prohibited all commercial and private drone operations with immediate effect.

Officials say the decision aims to prevent potential security threats and maintain public safety.

The Ministry of Interior clearly stated that no individual or company can fly drones anywhere in the country. Law enforcement agencies will strictly monitor compliance. Anyone violating the Nationwide Drone Ban will face firm legal action.

The Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad issued a formal notification confirming the ban. Officials linked the move directly to growing security risks. They warned that authorities will not tolerate any unauthorized drone activity under any circumstances.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the government has placed security forces on high alert. Authorities have activated anti-drone systems to strengthen surveillance.

Officials instructed local administrations to immediately secure any area where a suspicious drone appears.

The provincial government also directed teams to follow strict safety protocols. Only bomb disposal units or trained experts may handle suspicious drones or unknown devices. This measure ensures public safety and prevents possible damage.

Authorities imposed Section 144 in Dera Ghazi Khan and Neelum Valley. The order bans the use of drone cameras due to security threats. Meanwhile, officials in Bajaur district have temporarily banned double riding on motorcycles for one month.
