Islamabad: Prime Minister’s spokesperson for international media, Musharraf Zaidi, said the Pakistan Army inflicted heavy losses on the Afghan Taliban during Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq. He shared the update through a post on X, and called the response firm and found it effective.
Zaidi said the Pakistan Army launched the counteraction after unprovoked aggression. He added that the forces acted swiftly to defend the country’s borders. The operation targeted hostile positions with precision.
He provided an update as of 11:40 a.m. on Thursday. According to him, the Pakistan Army caused significant damage during the retaliatory strikes. He said the response reflected strong coordination and preparedness.
The spokesperson confirmed that no Pakistani check post was captured. He said the enemy failed to occupy any territory. The Army maintained full control of all positions.
The speaker also stated that no Pakistani soldier was taken prisoner. He confirmed that no soldier embraced martyrdom during the operation and Pakistan Army successfully protected every post.
He emphasized that the situation remains stable and under control. Security forces continue to monitor developments along the border. The National Army stays alert to any further threat.
Zaidi described the operation as a clear message to hostile elements. He said the Pakistan Army will respond strongly to any future aggression. The country will not tolerate violations of its sovereignty.
He further said that the armed forces remain committed to national security. The government fully supports the military’s actions. The National Army stands ready to defend the homeland at all costs.
