Shahid Afridi Praises Armed Forces Over Ghazab ul Haq

Former Pakistan cricket captain Shahid Afridi has strongly praised the armed forces following Operation Ghazab ul Haq. He said the neighboring country violated the sanctity of the blessed month by attacking Pakistan. He added that the military responded with strength and discipline.

Shahid Afridi stated that the armed forces delivered a timely and effective reply. He said they protected the country’s territory and ensured the safety of its people. According to him, the nation feels proud of its defenders.

In a statement posted on X, Shahid Afridi said Pakistan had made sincere efforts to resolve tensions through dialogue and diplomacy. He added that Pakistan always preferred peace over conflict. However, aggression continued despite these efforts.

Referring to Ghazab ul Haq, Shahid Afridi said the operation sent a clear message that Pakistan will defend itself. He emphasized that the armed forces acted responsibly and decisively. He described their response as necessary and justified.

Shahid Afridi also noted that Pakistan has consistently supported Afghanistan during difficult times. He said Afghanistan must realize that following India’s agenda will not benefit its future. Instead, he warned, such actions will only bring setbacks.

Speaking about the holy month, Shahid Afridi expressed regret that violence occurred during a sacred time meant for worship and unity. He said Muslims should focus on peace and spiritual reflection rather than conflict.

He further said Pakistan desires regional harmony and stability. However, he made it clear that the country will never compromise on its sovereignty or security. National dignity, he stressed, remains non-negotiable.
