The Tehran explosions happened close to sensitive locations. Reports suggest that an Iranian military base across the Pakistani Embassy may have been the target. The intensity of the blasts caused concern among diplomatic staff.
A senior diplomat said the explosions were very loud. He confirmed that buildings remained intact. No windows broke, and no structural damage occurred. Still, the situation created fear due to ongoing airstrikes in the city.
