Islamabad: Pakistan will host the upcoming US-Iran talks, marking a major diplomatic step. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar confirmed this during a media address in Islamabad.
He said the United States and Iran have trusted Pakistan to facilitate these US-Iran talks. Therefore, Pakistan will take an active role in bringing both sides to the table. He welcomed this trust and called it a positive development for peace efforts.
Moreover, Dar stated that Pakistan will ensure that the US-Iran talks are productive and meaningful. He stressed that dialogue remains the best way to reduce tensions. As a result, Pakistan will fully support efforts that promote understanding between the two countries.
In addition, he highlighted the importance of unity among Muslim nations. He said countries must work together to face shared challenges. Meanwhile, he urged stronger cooperation to address ongoing regional issues.
Furthermore, Pakistan hosted a consultative meeting involving Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Egypt. During this meeting, leaders discussed regional tensions in detail. in US-Iran-Talks they also emphasized the need for quick and lasting solutions to conflicts.
On the other hand, Dar held separate meetings with visiting foreign ministers. He described these talks as positive and constructive. In particular, the discussions focused on peace, stability, and stronger cooperation.
