7th May: Day of Victory Marked With Strong Marka-e-Haq Message

Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry delivered a strong “Marka-e-Haq” message on 7th May while addressing growing India-Pakistan tensions during a detailed press conference.

The DG ISPR said Pakistan had already shown a glimpse of its strength during “Marka-e-Haq” and warned that the country remains fully prepared to respond to every form of aggression. He added that no force can harm Pakistan’s sovereignty or weaken its defense.

Speaking about regional tensions, he accused India of creating what he called a false narrative against Pakistan. According to him, India repeatedly blames Pakistan for terrorism while ignoring its own actions in the region. He also claimed that the international community no longer accepts India’s “fabricated accusations.”

Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry criticized Indian political leadership, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. He stated that Indian leaders appear more focused on confrontation than diplomacy.

The DG ISPR further said Pakistan had revealed only “10 to 15 percent” of its overall defense capability during Marka-e-Haq. He announced that the nation would witness another glimpse of Pakistan’s military strength during the upcoming 14 August celebrations and parade.

While discussing future threats, he warned that Pakistan would respond across land, air, sea, cyber, and information domains if challenged. He emphasized that the armed forces remain ready for both conventional and unconventional warfare.

The military spokesperson also addressed the issue of Kashmir and said it remains an internationally recognized dispute rather than an internal matter of India. He questioned India’s claims regarding cross-border terrorism and demanded answers about security failures linked to the Pahalgam incident.

During the press conference, the DG ISPR clarified that the Pakistan Army has no role in politics and believes political matters should be resolved through dialogue among political parties.

He also highlighted Pakistan’s close ties with Saudi Arabia and said any threat to Saudi security would also be considered a threat to Pakistan. Additionally, he urged Afghan authorities not to allow their territory to be used against Pakistan.

The DG ISPR concluded by saying Pakistan’s fight against terrorism will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated, adding that terrorists have no connection with Islam despite using religion for their agenda.
