What Experts Say
According to astronomers, millions of meteoroids orbit the Earth, and their entry into the atmosphere is a natural astronomical phenomenon. These space rocks revolve around the Sun, and when they enter Earth’s atmosphere, they create stunning displays of light before burning up.
Meteors, also known as shooting stars, produce a cluster of bright lights as they disintegrate before reaching the ground.
At 2:43 AM, Karachi residents witnessed the meteor breaking apart and spreading across the night sky in a dazzling display.
Astronomers further explained that meteors glow due to friction as they enter the Earth’s atmosphere, creating their captivating, luminous appearance.
