Fact-checking
- Before publication, reporters verify key facts against primary or official sources and, for significant claims, a second independent source.
- Statistics come from named bodies (for example PBS, SBP, SECP, election or board authorities) and are dated in the article — we do not publish figures without a source and a period.
- Quotations are taken from recorded statements, official releases or reputable reporting, and are attributed. We never invent quotes, reactions or expert opinions.
- Our Fact Check category examines claims circulating publicly; verdicts state the evidence checked and link to the sources used.
Corrections
- If an article contains a factual error, we fix the article, and for a material error we add a short correction note at the end stating what changed and when.
- Headlines are corrected on the same basis as body text.
- To request a correction, email featurepakistanofficial@gmail.com with the headline, the URL, and what you believe is wrong, with evidence if you have it. We aim to review correction requests within 2 working days.
Updates
Developing stories are updated in place with the newest verified information first, and the update is reflected in the article text. We do not silently change published facts — material changes follow the corrections process above.
