Infinix Note 70 Pro Leak Points to 7,000mAh Battery, Snapdragon 7s Gen 4
LAHORE: The Infinix Note 70 Pro is shaping up to be a battery-first upgrade, with fresh leaks pointing to a 7,000mAh cell, the biggest jump over its predecessor, the Note 60 Pro.
The phone, carrying model number X6766, has now surfaced in the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) database, which confirms its marketing name as the Infinix Note 70 Pro. The same model number appeared in the GSMA IMEI database back in August. Certifications like these typically appear weeks or months before launch, which suggests Infinix is preparing the phone for release, though the company has not officially announced it or confirmed any specifications.
The big upgrade: battery
The reported 7,000mAh battery stands out as the headline change. Most of the other leaked specifications suggest modest evolution rather than revolution, which makes the battery bump the Note 70 Pro’s clearest selling point. For buyers in Pakistan, where long hours away from a charger and frequent load-shedding make battery life a top priority, a 7,000mAh cell could be decisive in the crowded mid-range segment.
Infinix Note 70 Pro: leaked specifications
A DevCheck hardware listing has filled in much of the rest of the picture:
- Chipset: Snapdragon 7s Gen 4
- Display: 6.78 inches, 1,208 x 2,644 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate
- Memory: 8GB RAM, 256GB storage
- Camera: 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS)
The Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 should deliver a solid step up in efficiency and everyday speed over the previous generation, while the 144Hz display keeps the Note series competitive for gaming and smooth scrolling. The 50MP OIS camera is a welcome inclusion at this price tier, since optical stabilisation noticeably improves low-light shots and video.
It is worth stressing that none of this is official. The EEC listing covers encryption-related documentation and reveals no hardware details; the specifications come from third-party listings and leaks, which have been wrong before.
What it means for Pakistani buyers
Infinix has built a strong following in Pakistan’s budget and mid-range market by pairing aggressive pricing with big batteries and large displays. If the Note 70 Pro launches near the Note 60 Pro’s price band with a 7,000mAh battery and a 144Hz screen, it will pressure rivals from Xiaomi, Realme and Samsung’s Galaxy A series. Frequently asked questions
When will the Infinix Note 70 Pro launch?
No date is confirmed. The phone’s appearance in EEC and GSMA IMEI databases suggests a launch is approaching, but certifications can precede release by weeks or months.
What are the leaked Infinix Note 70 Pro specifications?
Leaks point to a 7,000mAh battery, Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, 6.78-inch 144Hz display, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage and a 50MP OIS main camera. Infinix has not confirmed any of these.
Is the 7,000mAh battery confirmed?
No. It comes from leaked listings, not from Infinix. Treat it as a strong rumour until the company announces the phone.
Will the Note 70 Pro come to Pakistan?
Infinix sells the Note series in Pakistan, so a local launch is likely if the phone releases globally, though pricing and availability are unknown.
