The rebuilt stadium
Gaddafi Stadium was substantially rebuilt for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025: new pavilions, enlarged screens, upgraded seating and improved spectator facilities. By the time Australia arrived in January 2026, it was effectively a new ground — and the 3–0 T20I whitewash gave the rebuild its defining early memory.
