Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi spoke directly with his Israeli counterpart by phone. He clearly stated that China does not support attacks on Iran.

China strongly condemned the reported targeting of Iran’s leadership. Officials described such actions as a serious violation of international norms.

Inside Israel, the killing has also drawn criticism, with opposition leader Yair Golan calling the assassination of Khamenei a mistake.

Beijing stressed that dialogue remains the only effective solution. It said negotiations were already progressing before violence disrupted diplomatic efforts.

According to Chinese officials, force cannot solve political disputes. Instead, it creates new crises and long-term consequences.

China urged all sides involved in the Iran-Israel conflict to step back and avoid further escalation. It warned that the situation could quickly spiral out of control.

The government also called for protecting civilian lives. It emphasized respect for national sovereignty and international law.

Meanwhile, Russia responded to the crisis by voicing concerns over military actions against Iran. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov questioned the justification presented for such strikes.

He asked global powers to present proof regarding claims about Iran’s nuclear program. Russia warned that the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict is already affecting the entire Middle East.

Lavrov said the war has caused economic damage across the region. He also pointed to the tragic loss of innocent lives.

Global concern continues to grow as the Iran-Israel conflict shows no immediate signs of cooling down. World leaders fear that further escalation could destabilize the broader region.

China’s position is clear: it supports negotiations over military action.

Beijing believes that only diplomacy can prevent the Iran-Israel conflict from turning into a full-scale regional war.
