Pakistani TikToker and social media influencer Alina Amir has raised her voice against child abuse and sexual violence, calling on people across the country to stand together for the safety and protection of children.
Alina Amir joined the growing campaign seeking justice for Aizal Ali, an 18-month-old child who died after a reported sexual assault in Karachi. The heartbreaking case has triggered anger and calls for justice across social media.
The social media influencer also took the campaign to Lahore and invited people to participate in an awareness press conference at the Lahore Press Club. She had announced the event through her social media account and urged her followers to speak against increasing cases of child abuse and rape.
Alina Amir said children deserve safety, protection and justice. She encouraged Pakistanis to break their silence and support families who suffer after such horrific incidents.
After the press conference, Alina Amir shared another message with her followers and said the event had gone well. She used the slogan “Save Our Children” while repeating her demand for justice and stronger action against people who harm children.

UNICEF reported on September 3 that nearly one in 16 internet-using children aged between 12 and 17 in Pakistan experienced at least one form of technology-facilitated sexual exploitation or abuse during a one-year period. Researchers estimated that the figure represented around 1.5 million children.
The research also found that many children remained silent about their experiences. More than half of the affected children did not tell anyone, highlighting the importance of creating safe reporting systems and encouraging families and communities to listen to victims.
Meanwhile, Punjab authorities have also acknowledged the seriousness of sexual crimes against children. Punjab Inspector General of Police Abdul Kareem recently said that people known to victims commit a large proportion of sexual crimes involving women and children.
The issue has also received attention from Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. She recently described child abuse and rape among the issues that cause her the greatest concern and pledged action against offenders.
