Today, 26 May, marks the 54th Shahadat anniversary of Lieutenant Saadat Farooq Abbasi Shaheed, an officer of the Pakistan Army who embraced martyrdom in East Pakistan on 26 May 1971.

He was commissioned through the 44th Long Course and served in the 18 Punjab Regiment (18 PR). His name is remembered with honor and his service stands as a reflection of dedication and loyalty to the country.
