Vivo has quietly listed a new Vivo Y32 on its website, bringing back a name it last used in 2021 with far stronger hardware. The new model packs an 8,000mAh battery, a 120Hz display and updated internals, though Vivo has not confirmed pricing or wider availability yet.
Design and Display
The new Vivo Y32 carries a 6.87-inch LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1592 pixels. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches up to 1,300 nits of peak brightness, which should keep it readable outdoors.
The phone will be available in Twilight Red and Sunset Orange. It also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, a welcome addition at this end of the market.
Internals and Software
Powering the Y32 is the Unisoc T7300 chipset, built on a 6nm process. It comes with 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable via a microSD card of up to 2TB through the hybrid SIM slot.
The phone runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor is built into the power button.
Cameras
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main camera and a 2MP secondary sensor, likely used for depth information. A rear flash sits alongside the lenses. The phone also has an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Battery and Charging
Battery life is the headline feature. The Vivo Y32 packs a large 8,000mAh battery with support for 44W wired fast charging and reverse charging, so it can top up other devices in a pinch.
