How to Follow Ball-by-Ball
- TV: PTV Sports — every session of both Tests live, free-to-air across Pakistan.
- Streaming: Tapmad (app, web, smart TV) and the PCB’s official digital platforms. Open the stream 15 minutes before the 10:00 AM start; Test coverage begins with the toss and pitch report.

- Live blogs: major cricket sites run over-by-over text commentary with wagon wheels and win predictors — the best companion to the TV picture.
Session Timings
Play begins at 10:00 AM Pakistan time each day (9:00 AM UAE / 10:30 AM IST & SLST). Expect roughly: Session 1, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM; lunch; Session 2, 12:40–2:40 PM; tea; Session 3, 3:00–5:00 PM. Bad light can bring early stumps in November — Rawalpindi and Lahore both lose light earlier as winter approaches, so the evening session is where weather becomes a factor. Three Storylines to Follow
- Pakistan’s WTC basement battle. Last in the World Test Championship table on 4.63%, Pakistan need wins — not draws — to climb. Home Tests against Sri Lanka are the most winnable fixtures in their remaining schedule.
- Mendis’s first series as Test captain. Kusal Mendis leads Sri Lanka’s long-format side for the first time after Dhananjaya de Silva’s 8 October resignation. A new captain’s first away series is always revealing.
- The pitches. Rawalpindi has produced both green seamers and flat batting tracks in recent years; Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium traditionally offers something for everyone early before wearing. The toss — bat or bowl — could shape both Tests.
Live Scores and Commentary
If you can’t watch, the next best thing is a live scorecard with ball-by-ball text: every major cricket portal carries one, with the PCB’s own match centre the official source. Pair it with our complete tour guide for context on what’s at stake, and the streaming guide if you find a screen mid-day.
