ISLAMABAD (APP) – Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi has alleged foreign involvement in the recent Islamabad mosque bombing, claiming that militant groups operating from Afghanistan received funding and guidance from India.
At a press briefing, Naqvi said security agencies arrested several suspects, including alleged facilitators and a suspected mastermind. He added that the investigation indicated coordination between multiple militant outfits.
Security analysts say while Pakistan has frequently raised concerns about cross-border militancy, such claims require independent verification to gain traction internationally. Indian officials have not publicly commented on the allegations.
