The Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued the Hajj flight schedule. The first Hajj flight from Pakistan will depart on April 18.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, under the government Hajj scheme, 468 flights will transport pilgrims to the holy lands. On April 18, flights will depart from Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot, and Multan.
Under the government scheme, 119,000 pilgrims will be transported from Pakistan to Medina and Mecca. Under the government scheme, 67,230 male pilgrims will be transported to Saudi Arabia.
Under the government scheme, 51,846 female pilgrims will travel to the holy lands. On the first day of the Hajj operation, pilgrims will be taken to Medina via 4 flights.
Hajj flights to Jeddah will begin on May 4, while the first Hajj flight to Medina will operate on May 7.
The last Hajj flight from Pakistan will depart on May 21.
The operation to transport pilgrims to the holy lands will continue for 34 days. In the first 15 days after the start of Hajj flights, pilgrims will be taken to Medina. There will be 186 flights to Medina and 282 to Jeddah.
Officials say that PIA, Airblue, Air Sial, and Saudi Airlines will participate in the Hajj operation. Hajj flights will operate from 8 cities in Pakistan. The Ministry of Religious Affairs states that 129 flights from Islamabad, 124 from Karachi, and 104 from Lahore will operate, while 18 from Quetta, 34 from Multan, and 26 from Sialkot will depart. 23 Hajj flights from Faisalabad and 5 from Sukkur will take pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.
