XPeng has officially launched the L03 in Pakistan, and the XPeng L03 Pakistan price starts at Rs11.5 million for the range-extended REEV Standard. The fully electric BEV Long Range costs Rs12.2 million. Both versions are ex-factory prices, and the company gives an estimated delivery time of about two months.
The L03 is a coupe-style electric SUV, and it arrives with two different answers to the same problem. The BEV carries a larger battery for longer electric trips. The REEV carries a smaller battery plus a petrol generator, so drivers can travel long distances without depending on public chargers. That choice matters in Pakistan, where intercity fast charging is still scarce.
XPeng L03 Pakistan price and variants
| Variant | Powertrain | Ex-factory price |
|---|---|---|
| L03 REEV Standard | Range-extended electric | Rs11,500,000 |
| L03 BEV Long Range | Fully electric | Rs12,200,000 |
Buyers choose from five exterior colours: Phantom Purple, Rock Gray, Silver Frost, Midnight Black and Arctic White. The cabin comes in light grey or dark grey. Unusually, the REEV costs less than the BEV. PakWheels notes that tax rates may explain part of the gap, because the BEV’s battery is above 50 kWh and taxed at 18 per cent, while the REEV’s smaller battery falls in the 12.5 per cent band. Pakistan’s electric vehicle tax rules have shaped pricing across the segment this year.
Range, charging and performance
Both versions use a rear-mounted electric motor with 183 kW of power, about 245 hp, and 280 Nm of torque. The BEV reaches 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds, and the REEV takes 6.8 seconds. In the REEV, a 1,499cc petrol engine works only as a generator. It never drives the wheels directly.
| Specification | BEV Long Range | REEV Standard |
|---|---|---|
| Battery | 69 kWh | 37.2 kWh |
| Electric range | 525 km (WLTP) | 240 km (WLTP) |
| Combined range | Not applicable | 1,100 km (WLTP) |
| DC fast charging | 236 kW | 123 kW |
| DC charge, 10 to 80 per cent | 20 minutes | 15 minutes |
The BEV also offers a 102-litre front trunk, which the REEV does not. Both versions supply up to 6 kW of vehicle-to-load power, so the car can run external equipment. Actual range in Pakistan will vary with speed, temperature, traffic and air conditioning use.
Inside, the L03 has a 15.6-inch central display, an 8.8-inch instrument screen and a 26.8-inch head-up display. It also offers Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 50W wireless phone charging and a panoramic glass roof. Safety equipment includes seven airbags, a 360-degree camera and Level 2 driver assistance with adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking. Warranty cover runs for five years or 120,000 km on the vehicle, and eight years or 160,000 km on the battery and motor.
Where the L03 fits in Pakistan’s market
The L03 enters a small but growing field. Its closest rival is the Deepal S05 REEV, which follows the same range-extender idea, and buyers may also compare the MG HS Super Hybrid and the Haval H6 PHEV. The wider case for such cars is cost per kilometre: earlier analysis on this site estimated that electric cars could save Pakistan $1 billion in fuel imports over time.
Running costs still depend on fuel prices, and petrol is far dearer than it was in January, as the latest pump prices show. Regional policy also matters, because China and the EU recently agreed tariff cuts on hybrid cars, a move that could affect future import pricing. Full launch specifications are listed by PakWheels.
