Hajj 2027 Second Installment Payment Dates Announced: October 5 to 20

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has announced the Hajj 2027 second installment payment dates under the government scheme. Pilgrims can pay from October 5 to October 20, 2026.

The announcement was made on October 2 through the ministry’s spokesperson, Muhammad Umar Butt, and carried by Radio Pakistan. Payments must be made through the Pak Hajj App or the Digital Hajj Portal.

Hajj 2027 second installment payment window and deadlines

The second installment opens on Monday, October 5, and closes on Tuesday, October 20. That gives intending pilgrims 16 days to complete the payment. The ministry has warned that applications whose dues are not deposited by the deadline will be treated as cancelled, and the amount already paid will be refunded to the pilgrim’s account.

The ministry has urged all government scheme pilgrims to complete the formalities early and avoid leaving the payment to the last day.

Medical fitness certificate required first

The ministry has made it mandatory for government scheme pilgrims to upload a medical fitness certificate before paying the second installment. The certificate must be uploaded through the Pak Hajj App or the Digital Hajj Portal, and the app will not allow payment until the certificate is in place. Pilgrims should also note that Hajj vaccination has been made mandatory.

Pilgrims should get their medical examination done well before the deadline so the certificate is ready when the payment window opens.

How the payments fit together

The first installment, covering 50 per cent of the package price, was collected from August 18, 2026. The second installment should cover the remaining balance, though pilgrims should take the exact figure from the app rather than estimating it themselves.

The Hajj 2027 package prices were fixed earlier: Rs 1.2 million for the long package of about 38 to 42 days, and Rs 1.3 million for the short package of about 20 to 25 days. Under the government scheme, 107,526 seats have been allocated, with 30,000 reserved for the short scheme.

This sits within Pakistan’s new four-year Hajj policy, which replaced the previous year-by-year approach. Pilgrims who missed this year’s registration can review the key conditions for Hajj 2027, while companies can still apply under the Hajj 2027 labour quota. Those planning Umrah instead should read about the multiple-entry Umrah visa, and all travellers should check the 2026 Hajj flight schedule for context on how departures are organised. TechJuice’s report has further detail on the cancellation warning.

Warning against unofficial payments

The ministry has stressed that payments must go only through the Pak Hajj App or the Hajj portal. It says it is not responsible for any payment made outside these official channels, and pilgrims should never hand cash or bank transfers to agents or intermediaries for a government scheme installment.
