Today PSL match time — when do Pakistan Super League matches start? The complete guide to PSL start times: day vs night matches, double-headers, playoffs, and how times work for viewers abroad.
Quick answer: PSL night matches start at 7:00pm PKT and day matches at 2:30pm PKT. Single-match days are night games; double-header weekends have a day game followed by a night game.
Standard PSL Start Times
The PSL keeps the same two slots every season:
- Night match: 7:00pm PKT — the standard slot, used for most matches including all playoffs and the final.
- Day match: 2:30pm PKT — used for the first game on double-header days.
The toss takes place 30 minutes before the start (6:30pm for night games), and broadcast coverage typically begins an hour before the first ball.
Double-Headers
On weekends the PSL often schedules two matches: the day game at 2:30pm PKT finishing around 6:00pm, and the night game at 7:00pm PKT. This pattern held through PSL 11 (2026) and is expected to continue.
