Quick answer: A Sports is the main Pak vs SA broadcast channel in Pakistan — it holds the exclusive rights to all South Africa home internationals through 2027. The Three TV Channels
Pakistani TV coverage of Pakistan vs South Africa comes down to three channels. Keep this short list — one of these three shows every series.
A Sports — ARY Digital Network’s sports channel and the primary Pak vs SA broadcaster. Its rights deal with Cricket South Africa runs through 2027, covering every South Africa home international in the Pakistani market. It has also carried Pakistan’s home bilaterals.
Ten Sports — the long-running sports channel that shares bilateral coverage with A Sports. It broadcast the November 2025 Pak vs SA ODI series in Faisalabad alongside A Sports, and regularly features in the PCB’s home-rights arrangements.
PTV Sports — Pakistan’s state-owned sports channel. It does not usually carry bilateral Pak vs SA series, but it is the free-to-air home of ICC tournaments, so when the two sides meet at a World Cup or T20 World Cup, PTV Sports is the channel to watch.
Series in Pakistan vs Series in South Africa
The venue decides the broadcaster. When South Africa tours Pakistan, the PCB’s home-rights holder shows the series — most recently A Sports and Ten Sports together. When Pakistan tours South Africa, the CSA rights deal applies and the series airs on A Sports in Pakistan through 2027. When the teams meet at an ICC event, PTV Sports shows it. If you remember “home = A Sports + Ten Sports, away = A Sports, World Cup = PTV Sports,” you will be right almost every time. How to Find the Channels on Your TV
On cable networks across Pakistan, A Sports and Ten Sports sit in the sports section of your line-up — the exact number varies by operator (PTCL Smart TV, Nayatel, StormFiber and local cable each number channels differently), so check your provider’s channel list or on-screen guide on match day. On satellite, both channels are carried on the major DTH bouquets. PTV Sports is available free-to-air on terrestrial transmission and on every cable and satellite line-up in the country.
Radio and Alternative Coverage
Television remains the main broadcast medium in Pakistan, but ball-by-ball coverage is also available through the streaming apps’ audio feeds and live blogs on major sports sites. If you are away from a TV, the legal streaming options are Tapmad, Tamasha, ARY ZAP and Myco.
