Islamabad: Iran’s high-level delegation visit has officially begun, with a high-level Iranian team arriving in Islamabad for important diplomatic talks. The delegation is led by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament. Pakistani officials welcomed the delegation with great warmth and respect at the airport.
Along with Ghalibaf, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is also part of the visiting team. Senior Pakistani leadership received the delegation, including Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar. In addition, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi attended the welcome ceremony, highlighting the importance of the Iranian delegation’s engagement with Pakistan.
Meanwhile, officials emphasized the significance of these talks for regional peace. Ishaq Dar stated that Pakistan will continue to support dialogue and play a facilitative role.
