Zong wins two honours at Asian Experience Awards 2026 in Singapore
Zong has won two awards at the Asian Experience Awards 2026, becoming the first Pakistani brand to be recognised at the regional platform. The telecom operator picked up the honours at a ceremony held in Singapore on October 1 for its My5 Family Sharing Package and My Zong App campaigns.
The awards were announced by the Asian Business Review, which presents the Asian Experience Awards across the region. Zong received the Pakistan Brand Experience of the Year award in telecommunications for the My5 campaign, and the Pakistan Digital Experience of the Year award in the same sector for the My Zong App campaign.
Zong’s two wins at the Asian Experience Awards 2026
The awards honour companies for customer, brand, digital and service experiences. This year’s winners included telecom operators from across Asia, including Thailand’s True Corporation. Zong, which operates in Pakistan as China Mobile Pakistan, was the only Pakistani brand among the honourees, the company said.
Commenting on the recognition, Zong’s Head of Marketing, Sajid Munir, said: “Winning two awards at the Asian Experience Awards 2026 is a significant milestone for Zong and a proud moment for Pakistan. These recognitions validate our belief that the future of connectivity is not simply about faster networks, but about creating intelligent, meaningful and seamless experiences around them.”
He added that under the company’s “Aisa Hai Future” brand promise, Zong was bringing together technology, innovation and customer insight to deliver experiences that make a real difference in people’s everyday lives.
The campaigns behind the wins
The My5 Family Sharing Package was recognised for redesigning how households buy connectivity. The package bundles mobile connectivity with embedded insurance coverage, lifestyle perks and digital streaming access, and Zong has positioned it as a flexible alternative to traditional home broadband for connected families.
The My Zong App won for its digital experience. Zong describes the app as an AI-powered integrated digital ecosystem that brings self-service tools, embedded digital payments, gamified loyalty rewards and AI-based customer support into one platform. The company says the app is designed to give customers greater convenience, personalisation and control over their accounts.
Network performance adds context
The awards come as Zong leads Pakistan’s mobile networks on measured 4G speeds. The PTA’s Q2 2026 benchmarking report, based on Opensignal measurements, showed Zong recording the highest national 4G download and upload speeds among the operators measured. The regulator’s findings have kept Zong’s network performance in the spotlight through 2026, and the company says it continues to invest in 5G, AI and next-generation products and services.
