According to Sabq News, the Jeddah Municipality successfully conducted a raid on a house that was being used as an illegal drug factory. Authorities seized 217 kilograms of naswar, which was ready for distribution in the market, ensuring the safety of the residents.
The raid team caught several foreign nationals red-handed. The factory was sealed, and all confiscated drugs and equipment were destroyed. The detained foreigners were handed over to law enforcement, and the property owners were summoned for questioning as the house had been sealed.
Municipal officials reported that the foreigners had converted their residence into a factory, producing naswar and flavoured shisha. The Municipality has urged residents to monitor their neighbourhoods closely and report any illegal factories, as such operations pose a criminal threat and a risk to public health.
