Pakistani batter Muaz Sadaqat produced a record-breaking century in the Caribbean Premier League 2026 final. His explosive innings created several new milestones even though Jamaica Kingsmen lost the title match.
Muaz Sadaqat’s CPL performance became one of the tournament’s biggest individual highlights. He smashed 114 runs from only 58 balls against Antigua and Barbuda Falcons.
His innings included eight fours and nine sixes. He attacked the bowlers from the start and even opened the final with a six from the first delivery.
Muaz became the first batter in CPL history to score a century in the final. He also became the first Pakistani batter to score a hundred in the final of a franchise T20 tournament.

Jamaica Kingsmen needed a major innings after losing early wickets. Muaz responded with controlled aggression and kept the scoreboard moving despite pressure from the Falcons’ bowling attack.

Amir Jangoo led the Falcons with an unbeaten 57, while Hasan Nawaz added an unbeaten 47. Their partnership guided Antigua to a comfortable eight-wicket victory.
Earlier, Pakistani spinner Sufiyan Muqeem had delivered a major bowling performance for the Falcons. He took four wickets for only 14 runs and played a key role in restricting Jamaica.
The Muaz Sadaqat CPL journey had already produced another historic century before the final. In the Eliminator, he struck 112 runs from 49 balls and became the youngest centurion in CPL history.
That meant Muaz scored two centuries within the closing stages of the tournament. His back-to-back big performances turned him into one of the standout batters of CPL 2026.
Across seven matches, Muaz Sadaqat scored 363 runs. He finished the tournament with an average of 60.50 and a strike rate of 174.52.
Those numbers underline the consistency of Muaz Sadaqat’s CPL campaign. He combined aggressive stroke play with the ability to bat deep into important matches.
His final innings also showed his ability to perform under knockout pressure. Jamaica needed runs after early setbacks, and Muaz responded with one of the strongest innings of the season.
However, Antigua’s balanced performance ultimately decided the final. Sufiyan Muqeem controlled the first innings, while the Falcons’ batters completed the chase without facing serious pressure.
The victory gave Antigua and Barbuda Falcons their maiden CPL title. Jamaica Kingsmen, meanwhile, finished as runners-up despite Muaz’s record-breaking century.
The Muaz Sadaqat CPL campaign still ended with several personal records. His century in the final, his Eliminator hundred and his overall run tally made him one of the tournament’s biggest performers.
Pakistani players also played major roles on both sides of the final. Muaz starred for Jamaica, while Sufiyan Muqeem and Hasan Nawaz helped Antigua secure the championship.
For Muaz, the final defeat did not erase the significance of his innings. His 114-run knock placed his name in CPL history and added another major achievement to his growing franchise cricket record.
