600+ Direct Jobs Announced in Major Hiring Boost

Lahore: The Punjab government has approved a major plan to expand Sahulat Bazaars across the province. As a result, the project will generate 600+ direct jobs and bring economic relief to thousands of families.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz led this initiative to improve access to affordable and quality essential items. Moreover, the government aims to reduce the burden of rising prices through this large-scale expansion.

Under the plan, authorities will establish 27 new Sahulat Bazaars in different districts. In addition, they will launch 13 mobile “Sahulat on the Go” markets. Officials have set a clear deadline and plan to complete the 600+ direct jobs project by July.

These markets will offer strong financial benefits. Essential goods will cost up to 40 percent less than open market prices. Similarly, prices will remain about 18 percent below official DC rates. Therefore, more than 850,000 households will save a significant amount every year.

At the same time, the project will create 600+ direct jobs for unemployed individuals. This step will support job seekers and strengthen local economies. Furthermore, around 1,300 new small businesses will emerge through these markets.

The government has also introduced a smart delivery system. Residents within a 5-kilometer radius will receive free home delivery within 40 minutes. As a result, people will save both fuel costs and valuable time.

Shopkeepers will also benefit from this 600+ direct jobs initiative. Authorities will provide free electricity, cleaning, and security services. Consequently, shop owners can increase their sales and improve profit margins.

In addition, each market will offer a family-friendly environment. Clean drinking water and mosque facilities will remain available for visitors. Meanwhile, officials will ensure transparency and safety through central control rooms and camera monitoring systems.

The new Sahulat Bazaars will operate in cities such as Bhakkar, Mianwali, Pakpattan, Rajanpur, Muzaffargarh, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Faisalabad, Sialkot, and Bahawalpur. Likewise, mobile markets will serve several tehsils in major cities.

Overall, this initiative clearly highlights the government’s focus on public welfare. Most importantly, the creation of 600+ direct jobs will provide new opportunities and boost economic activity across Punjab.
