Maj Imran Khalil Shaheed: A Soldier of Wana

In 2016, soldiers in South Waziristan faced danger every single day. They guarded roads, towns and check posts far from home, and many never came back. On that day, a blast took his life at Wana. Indeed, his sacrifice joined a long line of officers who gave their lives for the country.

Another officer was with him that day. Lt M Talha Alvi, from 134 Long Course, was severely injured in the same blast. He survived, but he carries the memory of that day with him. In this way, one blast changed two families forever, and one name became a story of sacrifice.
