LAHORE: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has emphasized the importance of preparedness, innovation, and professional excellence in effectively responding to evolving and multidimensional security challenges.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Chief of Army Staff visited the Lahore Garrison, where he received a detailed briefing on the formation’s operational readiness, training standards, and key initiatives to enhance combat effectiveness.
During the visit, the Army Chief observed a technology-driven field training exercise designed to prepare troops for future, dynamic battlefield environments. The exercise highlighted the Pakistan Army’s focus on innovation and adaptability in modern warfare.
Field Marshal Asim Munir also reviewed sports and recreational facilities for troops, emphasizing that physical fitness, morale, and overall well-being are essential components of operational readiness.
He later visited the High Care Centre at CMH Lahore and commended the medical staff and administration for establishing a state-of-the-art healthcare facility to support soldiers and their families.
Addressing officers, the Army Chief reiterated the Pakistan Army’s zero-tolerance policy toward threats to national security, reaffirming the force’s commitment to confronting all challenges with focus, professionalism, and determination.
He underlined that Pakistan’s armed forces remain steadfast in their core mission of safeguarding national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and internal stability, while continuing to promote discipline, professional excellence, and selfless service to the nation.
Earlier, upon his arrival at the Lahore Garrison, Field Marshal Asim Munir was warmly received by the Lahore Corps Commander.
