Officials from the Airport Authority, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Customs, and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) are actively present at the airport. They are managing arrangements and assisting pilgrims at every step.

According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, around 31,000 pilgrims will travel from Karachi this year. The department has completed all necessary arrangements to facilitate the large number of passengers.

Sindh Governor will see off the pilgrims of the first Hajj flight, marking the official launch of the Hajj operation from Karachi.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Passports has also activated its preparations for Hajj 1447H. Saudi authorities have started reception services for incoming pilgrims from various countries, including Pakistan and Indonesia.

Officials report that immigration counters are fully operational across air, land, and sea entry points in Saudi Arabia. They have deployed digital systems to speed up processing and reduce waiting times.

Saudi authorities have also stationed trained staff 24/7 to guide pilgrims and ensure smooth handling of arrivals. They emphasize that advanced technology will help make the process faster and more organized.

Both Pakistani and Saudi officials continue to coordinate closely to ensure a safe and efficient Hajj operation in 2026.
