The Cabinet Division has published the Toshakhana gifts list 2026 for July to September, covering gifts received by senior Pakistani officials. The list covers President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and IT Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja, among others.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif tops the list with 34 gifts. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar follows with 25 gifts. The published record gives the description of each gift but puts no price on the items.
Toshakhana gifts list 2026: the prime minister’s 34 gifts
The prime minister’s list contains 34 gifts, including three Rolex watches and one Patek Philippe watch, alongside religious items, carpets, jewellery and other gifts. The three Rolex watches are a Day-Date, a Lady Datejust and a GMT Master II. The Patek Philippe watch is a Nautilus.
Religious items feature heavily in the list: a model of the Khana-e-Kaaba, a piece of Ghilaf-e-Kaaba measuring 36 by 29 inches, a model of Masjid-e-Nabvi, a piece of Qaleen-e-Riaz-ul-Jannah, and a model of the Grand Mosque of Makkah, plus two packets of Zam Zam water and two boxes of dates.
Other items include carpets in several sizes, a dagger with a silver case, paintings of Masjid-e-Nabvi, a framed photo or painting showing different poses of the prime minister, and a decoration piece depicting the Door of Khana-e-Kaaba. Cufflinks, pens, rings, tasbeehs and boxes of perfume, including oud, appear repeatedly through the list.
Dar’s 25 gifts
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar received 25 gifts. His collection includes three Rolex watches and one Patek Philippe Nautilus, as well as carpets, religious models, perfumes, dates and personal accessories.
Dar’s Rolex watches are a Datejust, a Day-Date and a GMT Master II. His religious items include models of the Door of Khana-e-Kaaba and the Grand Mosque of Makkah, and the rest follows the prime minister’s pattern: carpets, cufflinks, pens, rings, tasbeehs, dates and perfume.
The other names on the list
IT Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja’s list includes eight gifts: two Rolex Lady Datejust watches, two jewellery sets, two boxes of dates and two boxes of perfume.
President Asif Ali Zardari has seven gifts on the list. They include one Hublot wristwatch, one pair of cufflinks, one pen, one ring, one tasbeeh, one box of dates and one box of perfume.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Syed Naveed Qamar and Rana Tanveer Hussain each have seven entries, following the same pattern. Bilawal’s and Qamar’s lists are headed by a Rolex Datejust, while Rana Tanveer’s is headed by a Rolex Day-Date.
What is the Toshakhana?
The Toshakhana is the state repository where gifts received by public officials from foreign dignitaries and other sources are recorded and kept. Officials are required to declare such gifts, and the record is published from time to time as a transparency measure.
That is why the quarterly lists draw public attention: they show, in plain terms, what the country’s most senior officials received over three months, without leaks or speculation.
The pattern of the gifts also tells its own story. Religious models, carpets, dates and perfumes dominate the lists, reflecting the diplomatic calendar of the quarter. Luxury watches, which attract the most comment, appear on the lists of the prime minister, the deputy prime minister, the president and the other senior figures named.
Why the list matters
Publication lets citizens see exactly what was received, rather than relying on rumour, and creates a public record for later checks. The list does not state the value of any item, or which gifts, if any, were retained under the applicable rules.
The prime minister has been in the news on the economic front as well. Feature Pakistan reported that Shehbaz Sharif has pushed an export-led growth agenda, linking trade performance to the health of the stock market. His deputy, Ishaq Dar, has also been active diplomatically. Feature Pakistan reported that Dar met the Chinese ambassador to review progress on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. President Zardari, meanwhile, recently completed a trade-focused visit to Germany. Feature Pakistan reported that the three-day visit centred on trade talks.
