PSEB Free AI Bootcamps Open for 3,384 Places
The Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) has opened applications for free AI-powered technology bootcamps across Pakistan. The programme offers training in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, software development and other IT fields.
The initiative, launched under the Prime Minister’s technology skills development programme, aims to train about 3,384 participants through ten specialised courses. Applications close on 30 October 2026, so interested candidates have only a few days left to apply.
What the bootcamps offer
Each bootcamp will run for 12 weeks and include 300 hours of training. That total is made up of 230 hours of technical training and practical labs, 45 hours of soft skills development, and 25 hours on AI tools, freelancing and employability.
The ten courses cover artificial intelligence, digital forensics and cybersecurity, DevOps, databases, cloud infrastructure, web engineering, mobile development, user interface and user experience design, automation and software testing, and games and art. Each participant may enrol in only one training stream, so applicants should choose carefully before they apply.
Training is free. PSEB will provide technical training, laboratory access, learning materials and professional mentoring at no charge. Participants will work on projects related to their selected courses, and they will receive career counselling and job placement assistance.
There is, however, an important limit that applicants should note. PSEB does not provide a monthly stipend or a travel allowance. The funding covers training, course materials, laboratory facilities and certification examination vouchers for qualifying participants, but it does not cover living or travel costs.
Who can apply
The programme targets fresh IT graduates and working technology professionals. Fresh graduates must have completed at least 16 years of education in computing or IT in 2023 or later. They must hold a relevant degree and a valid Computerised National Identity Card, and they must be available to attend the full training schedule at their assigned centre.
Working IT professionals must also hold a degree representing at least 16 years of education and have graduated in 2023 or later. Candidates with non-IT degrees can qualify if they currently work in an IT company in a relevant technical role. In that case, they must provide an official employment confirmation letter from their company’s chief executive or human resources department.
Final-year students in their eighth semester can also register, but graduates receive priority and final-year students can be considered only if seats remain available.
Applicants must provide their CNIC, a recent photograph, degree certificate and academic transcript or mark sheet, plus an employment verification letter for working professionals.
The 17 cities and the in-person rule
PSEB has announced bootcamps across 17 cities and locations in Pakistan. The northern region includes Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Abbottabad, Gilgit, Skardu, Muzaffarabad and Mirpur. Training locations in Punjab include Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Gujrat and Bahawalpur. The programme also covers Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur and Quetta.
Applicants can select their preferred training city during registration, but the availability of specific courses and centres depends on the options listed on the official portal.
The bootcamps require attendance at designated physical training centres, although participants can also access recorded sessions and materials online. Training centres provide computer workstations.
How selection works
Candidates must register on the official portal and verify their email addresses before attempting the online admission test. The test uses multiple-choice questions covering basic English, logical reasoning and fundamental knowledge of the selected IT field.
Applicants who perform well in the entry test will be shortlisted for further verification. Final admission will depend on academic eligibility, test performance, document verification and available seats. Candidates who fail to attempt the admission test within the assigned period will not be considered for that cohort.
Selected participants must maintain at least 80 percent attendance. Participants seeking an international certification examination voucher must also pass an internal qualifying assessment after completing their training, with one additional attempt if they fail the first assessment.
Successful completion does not guarantee employment, although the programme offers career counselling and job placement assistance.
Interested candidates can apply online through the official PSEB Tech Bootcamps Registration Portal, at bootcamps.techdestination.com. With the deadline set for 30 October 2026, check eligibility first, prepare documents early, and do not leave the admission test until the last day.
